Sorry About It Newt  →
Instead of accepting that he is not doing so hot in recent poll numbers, he questions Virginia’s electoral college system. You didn’t make the ballot buddy! Life’s tough, get a helmet.

Barby and Hermy
Cain: “I prepared for much of the things I had to do, but it was the vicious, unrelenting character assassination that finally caused too much pain to my wife, my family and me. I believe that in the court of public opinion, I have not been treated fairly, because the accusations were false, but they continued to be spun as if they were true, and they are not true."
Walters: “Do you think any of this had to do with the fact that you’re black?”
Cain: “Yes, because I happen to believe that the Democrats did not want an accomplished, articulate, optimistic black man to face President Obama. I can’t prove that, Barbara, but I do believe that.”

Rise in Reefer
According to a survey by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, fewer teens are using alcohol and cigarettes than in the past. However, marijuana use continues to increase. According to the study, 1/15 high school seniors smoke marijuana once a day; or relatively close to that amount. 2011 is the fourth straight year that marijuana use has increased among young people.

Newt's Time Coming To A Halt?
According to the CNN/ORC International Poll, Gingrich and Romney are both at 28% in terms of support among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. Yet, in this same poll last month, Gingrich led Romney; 24% to 20%. Also, Ron Paul’s numbers have risen from 9% to 14%. The rollercoaster ride that these candidates are going on is nothing but entertainment for this political climate.

Unemployment at 8.6%, things are lookin' up
According to the Washington Post the number of people applying for benefits dropped to 366,000 last week, being the fewest since May 2008. If this numbers remains consistent or drops, it will signify that hiring is strong enough to assist and lower the current unemployment percentage.

Herman Meets Barbara
Cain: We are speaking totally, totally hypothetical, right? Department of Defense.
Walters: What?
Cain: Yes.
Walters: Not Treasury? I mean, you’re the 9-9-9 man. Why the Department of Defense?
Cain: Because if I could influence rebuilding our military as it should be, that would be a task I would consider undertaking.

Absolutely Appalling
In regards to the United States’ drug policy, Gingrich recently stated: “If you’re serious about the latter view, then we need to think through a strategy that makes it radically less likely that we’re going to have drugs in this country. Places like Singapore have been the most successful at doing that. They’ve been very draconian. And they have communicated with great intention that they...

Interesting...
According to a recent Gallup Poll 64% of Americans say big government is the biggest threat to the country, while 26% say big business is their major concern with 8% picking big labor as their biggest worry. I believe this poll is an indicator of how media effects one’s depiction of government and politics.

Is This Real Life?
In a recent speech Jon Huntsman stated: “I am in this race because I fundamentally feel the American people are getting screwed.” Ok, Jon, I agree that we are “getting screwed” but as a so-called Republican nominee for President, a former Governor, and a former Ambassador for our country you couldn’t come up with another phrase that’s better than “getting...

FYI My Beloved Rick
A recent Quinnipiac poll showed only 3 or 4 percent of voters favor Rick Perry in key swing states. Rick, darling, maybe just maybe you should stop acting like your gaffes and “oops I really effed up” moments aren’t a big deal. Instead of making fake apologies by saying that even though you mess up you’re the candidate that the American people want maybe just maybe you...
